The Australian War Memorial - Canberra
The Australian War Memorial is located at the foot of Mt Ainslie in Canberra and ranks among the world's great national monuments. It is a shrine to our nation's more than 100,000 war dead. But it is much more than that. It is also a museum containing one of the world's best collections of war relics and a centre for research.
The Memorial attracts close to one million visitors each year and is the most visited national cultural institution in Australia. Please join me for a tour of some of the highlights that you'll see when you next visit the Memorial.
